Dear friends, I must report that after things were going so well, I was struck with severe abdominal pain yesterday at 4:00 p.m. We were inches away from going to the emergency room then I climbed in a hot tub and found almost immediate relief, however in the middle of the night, fever and chills set in. I talked to the local surgeon at 9:00 this morning and he is convinced that I have trouble with the stent, so I will be going back to Barnes hospital in St. Louis as soon as possible, hopefully as an outpatient.
